Modifications and additions to the buildings
After 20 years of seminars the time has come for the Centro d'Ompio's facilities to be spruced up. Extensive works are about to begin.
First (and beginning this year) are modifications to the attic rooms and the addition to the dining room.
Further projects, which will be completed by 2010:

16 new rooms with bath, balcony and lake views.

Opening of a sound studio in the Casa Felicina

Building of artists' studios.

Addition of a wellness area with indoor swimming pool.

Completion of an additional 40 guest rooms compete with seminar and multipurpose rooms.

New staff living quarters.
Participate with a donation or 3-year loan at an attractive 5% interest rate or 7% interest paid in kind — that is you can have your interest paid out as free room and board at the Centro d'Ompio.

Home-Schooling
A project that is dear to us has begun: home schooling at the Centro d'Ompio. The first lessons have begun here.
First impressions have gelled and are showing us pathways which we can take. We're inviting interested parents to join us. If you live in the neighborhood of the Centro and would like to see your children privately home schooled in a nurturing environment or if you would like to support us here for awhile and bring your children, your children learn that which they will be able to use on their way in the world while you're working.
We're also quite interested in having experienced home schooling teachers and those with experience and/or specialised knowledge of school projects to become involved in this project. If you feel this would be for you, please contact us: office@ompio.org.
